Depart from Marrakech and head for the Atlas Mountains where you will cross the Tichka Pass (the highest pass in North Africa, which rises to 2260 m).
On the road you can make stops in Berber villages and you can take advantage of the beautiful panoramic views to take pictures.
Around noon we arrive in AITBENHADDOU, a village classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site which is also a place where many films have been shot namely Gladiator, The Mummy, Asterix and Obelix Cléopatre, … You will be able to enjoy this beautiful Kasbah before eating.
After your meal we will continue our journey to the beautiful city of Ouarzazate.
One of the doors to the southern oases and the desert, known for its kasbahs and film studios (considered the largest studios in Africa).
On your way, you will also cross the mountains of the anti-Atlas to descend to the Draa valley, an old caravan route.
When you reach the Zagora desert, you will enjoy a camel trek to reach the bivouac where you will spend your night in the desert in nomadic and Berber tents.
After admiring a memorable sunrise, you will join your driver to return to Marrakech taking advantage of photo breaks and visits (optional) before returning to Marrakech.
