A Day Trip to the Three Berber Valleys is a popular excursion from Marrakech that offers a fascinating insight into Morocco’s rich culture and stunning natural landscapes. This trip typically includes visits to three beautiful valleys in the Atlas Mountains: Ourika Valley, Asni Valley, and Oukaimeden Valley.
This full-day trip takes you from the bustling city of Marrakech into the heart of the Atlas Mountains, where you will explore the scenic beauty and cultural heritage of the Berber villages nestled in these valleys.
In the morning, our day trip to three Berber valleys will start from Marrakech and travel to the Agafay desert near Marrakech, where we will drive for a while off-road to reach the lac of Lala Takarkoust towards the High Atlas Mountains. Afterward, we will head to Asni and surrounding Berber villages, delightful spots to get away from Marrakech's hot and exotic attractions to this cold and rugged Berber country home. Then, we will approach a cluster of villages around the river valley Moulay Ibrahim, set in a dramatic setting of the High Atlas Mountains with a great view of the highest mountain of Morocco and North Africa named Toubkal. Furthermore, we will be welcomed by tiny villages, steep hillsides, and waterfalls, when we arrive at Sti Fadma village, you will have one hour to climb with a local guide to see the waterfalls. Finally, at the end of your day trip to three Berber valleys from Marrakech, you can expect to return to Marrakech around 5 pm.
