Discover the enchanting wonders of Morocco on an 8-day classic tour starting from Casablanca. Explore vibrant souks, historical monuments, stunning landscapes, and rich culture as you journey through iconic cities like Marrakech, Fes, and the Sahara Desert.

On the first day of our private Morocco classic tour from Casablanca, we’ll start by departing from your hotel or the airport and heading towards Chefchaouen. En route, we’ll pass through Rabat, the capital of Morocco, before reaching the Blue City, where we’ll stay overnight in a Riad.
After a half-day visit to this beautiful city, we’ll depart for one of Morocco’s oldest imperial cities, founded by Idris I, the founder of the Idrisid dynasty. We’ll arrive in the late afternoon and spend the night in a beautiful Riad.
To start the day, we’ll explore the oldest city in Morocco, wandering through its alleys and narrow streets. Next, we’ll begin sightseeing at the Royal Palace gate, followed by the Jewish quarter, where the first Mellah in Morocco was built during the 16th century. Ensure you visit all sites of cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region. Lastly, we’ll also visit the Tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. After lunch, we’ll explore various cooperatives and enjoy a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes before returning to your Riad for the night.
After breakfast at your hotel in Fes, we’ll head towards Merzouga through the Mid-Atlas region, passing through Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland” of Morocco. We’ll then drive further to explore the cedar forests of Azrou, where you can stop to feed the Berber apes. Afterward, we’ll continue to Midelt for lunch and then follow the Ziz River through the Ziz Gorge (valley). Our drive takes us across the Ziz Valley, Erfoud, and Rissani, where we’ll stop to explore the local souk (market). Finally, we’ll arrive in Merzouga, where we’ll spend the night at a local hotel, including a complimentary dinner and breakfast.
We’ll start early to catch the sunrise in the Merzouga desert, then return on camelback to the village. After that, we’ll head to Tinghir to reach the Todra Gorge, the highest and narrowest gorge in Morocco. We may stop to hike within the valley and have lunch in the gorge before continuing to the Dades Gorge, known for its sand castles and geological formations called “monkey toes/feet”. We’ll spend the night at a local hotel in the Dades Gorge, including a complimentary dinner and breakfast.
After breakfast, we’ll drive towards Ouarzazate along the route of a thousand Kasbahs (fortresses). We’ll take a break at Kalaat Mgouna, the center of the Valley of Roses, for lunch at a local restaurant. Then, we’ll continue our private tour, starting with a visit to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After that, we’ll pass through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass to Marrakesh, where we’ll spend the night at a local riad or hotel.
Today, we’ll embark on a guided tour of Marrakesh. You’ll explore the city’s main attractions and monuments, including the famous Jamma el Fna square, Kotubia mosque, the souks, palaces, and museums. Additionally, we’ll visit parts of the city belonging to Fes Jdid “New Fes,” such as Gueliz, The Menara Gardens, and Marjolle.
Today’s activities depend on your flight schedule. If time permits, you can spend the afternoon exploring the less touristy areas of Marrakesh and enjoying lunch at a local restaurant before being transferred to your hotel or the airport.
